Stipl organises brands in workspaces. You invite colleagues into a workspace, and you can give a client access to a single brandpad without opening up the rest of the workspace.

Workspaces

A workspace holds one or more brandpads. When someone adds you to a workspace, you get an email, and the workspace’s brandpads show up in your dashboard.

Roles

Everyone in a workspace has one of three roles: Owner, Admin or Designer. All three see and work on every brand in the workspace. The roles differ in who runs the team, the settings and the billing. Nobody can change their own role. To step down from Owner, ask another owner to change your role.
Give the Owner role to at least two people. If the only owner deletes their Stipl account, the workspace is deleted with it.

Change a role or remove someone

Open Team in the left bar. Each person’s row shows their role.
  • To change a role, click the role and pick a new one. You only get the menu on rows you are allowed to change.
  • To remove someone, hover over their row and click × at the far right, then confirm. They lose access to the workspace and every brand in it right away.
Admins see no menu and no × on an owner’s row. Only an owner can change or remove another owner.

Give a client access to one brandpad

You can invite someone to a single brandpad without making them a member of the workspace. This is useful when an agency shares a brand with its client.

Hand a brand over

You can hand a brand over to another person, for example when a project ends and the client takes over. They get an email about the handover.
Step-by-step instructions for inviting people and handing a brand over are coming.
